Skin Training Courses; Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all skin training courses provided by Natalie The Facialist, whether delivered online, in person, or as a blended programme.

All payments are made to Natalie Hodge.
​
​
By booking a course and paying the course deposit, the student confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking & Payment
1.1. A course place is only secured once either:
a) Full payment is received, or
b) A deposit is received and a payment plan is agreed.
1.2. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
1.3. The remaining balance must be paid in full before the commencement of training unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.4. Failure to pay the remaining balance may result in suspension of training without refund.

2. Course Kits
2.1. All courses include a professional kit and/or products.
2.2. Kits are allocated and ordered specifically for each student upon booking.
2.3. Once a kit has been ordered or issued, the course is considered in progress and no refund will be available.

3. Commencement of Training
3.1. Training is deemed to have commenced when either of the following occurs (whichever is first):
Access is granted to any online learning platform, theory content, videos, manuals, or digital materials; or
The student attends any in-person training, demonstration, or practical session.
3.2. Once training has commenced, the course is classed as started.

4. Refund Policy
4.1. No refunds will be issued once training has commenced, under any circumstances.
4.2. This includes (but is not limited to):
Change of mind
Illness or injury
Pregnancy
Personal circumstances
Work or travel issues
Failure to complete the course
Incompatibility with course content or structure
4.3. This applies to:
Online courses
In-person courses
Blended courses
Payment plan bookings
4.4. By booking, the student accepts that course fees reflect:
Reserved training time
Issued or ordered kits
Access to intellectual property
Instructor availability

5. Cooling-Off Period (UK Compliance)
5.1. Where applicable under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, students have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of booking only if training has not yet commenced.
5.2. If online access is provided within this period, the student expressly agrees that their right to cancel ends once access begins.

6. Student Cancellations & Rescheduling
6.1. If a student cannot attend a scheduled training date, no refund will be issued.
6.2. Natalie The Facialist will however, always offer alternative dates.
6.3. Rescheduled dates are subject to:
Trainer availability
Existing student bookings
Course capacity
6.4. Students acknowledge that there may be a delay in restarting or completing training due to other booked students and business commitments.
6.5. Rescheduling is offered at the discretion of Natalie The Facialist and does not constitute a contractual entitlement.

7. Training Pauses; Student
7.1. If a student is unable to continue training due to illness, family emergency, or other significant personal circumstances, Natalie The Facialist will aim to offer the next closest available training dates.
7.2. Training will resume subject to:
Trainer availability
Existing student bookings
Course capacity
7.3. Students acknowledge that any pause in training may result in a delay to course completion.
7.4. No refunds will be issued as a result of any pause or delay in training.

8. Training Pauses; Trainer
8.1. If Natalie The Facialist is unable to deliver training due to illness, family emergency, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, the student will be offered the next closest available training dates.
8.2. No refunds will be issued where alternative dates are provided.
8.3. Natalie The Facialist is not liable for any costs incurred by the student due to such postponement, including:
Travel
Accommodation
Childcare
Loss of earnings

9. Trainer Cancellations
9.1. If Natalie The Facialist must cancel or postpone training due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, the student will be offered extensive alternative dates.
9.2. No refund will be issued where alternative dates are provided.
9.3. Natalie The Facialist is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the student.

10. Force Majeure
10.1. Natalie The Facialist shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Pandemic or epidemic
Government restrictions
Natural disaster
Fire or flood
Transport disruption
Utility or internet failure
10.2. In such cases, training will be postponed and alternative dates provided. No refunds will be issued.

11. Insurance & Liability
11.1. Students are covered under the professional insurance of Natalie The Facialist only for the duration of the training course and only while treatments are carried out under direct supervision.
11.2. Once the course has ended, students are responsible for obtaining their own professional insurance before performing treatments independently.
11.3. Natalie The Facialist accepts no responsibility for the outcome of treatments carried out by students after completion of training.

12. Intellectual Property
12.1. All course content, materials, demonstrations, manuals, videos, and teaching methods remain the intellectual property of Natalie The Facialist.
12.2. Materials must not be copied, recorded, shared, resold, or taught to others without written consent.
​
13. Governing Law
13.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
